I’d like to thank you again for a wonderful stay at the Feathers Royal Hotel in Aberaeron during my recent business trip to Wales. I was pleased to learn that the great success of my first visit was able to be repeated on my next trip. For years I have been travelling quite extensively for business, and have stayed at a diverse array of hotels around the world. I can tell you that my experiences at the Feathers Royal have been among the most positive I have ever had anyplace, anywhere. Your hotel ranks among the best of the best in my experiences - large or small hotel, city or country location.
The amenities of your delightful Welsh hotel rival the best I’ve encountered at the largest of the world-class chains. You can tell that great consideration was given to the functional design of each room, with practical elements that a business traveler needs: numerous strategically-located electrical outlets placed at mid-level for easy access, phones with extra-long cords to move around the room, multiple room lamps and ample desk space for suitable working conditions.
In addition, your business services were exemplary. As an example, I misplaced the copy of my hotel bill upon my return home, and called to request a replacement copy. In less than 10 minutes it was provided electronically to me, and it was a weekend evening. Outstanding! Even a major chain hotel couldn’t be so responsive and efficient. During my first visit we used your lovely banquet facility to deliver a two-day professional training class. The audio-visual set-up was perfect, the food superb, and the room ideal for the class. I’ve had no better facility for my classes anywhere else where I’ve presented them around the world in the last 10 yrs.
Great care for design is also evident in the personal elements in the guest rooms, such as exquisite bedding, spacious bath facilities, comfortable table and chairs, and soothing décor. And your gracious, cheerful staff members with their prompt, accommodating spirits are truly fantastic. Whether delivering fresh, hot breakfast to my room each day, encouraging me to sample enticing menu items at dinner, or chatting about local history or current events, they are jewels in the crown of your establishment.
I look forward to future visits to Wales, and to again staying at the Feathers Royal Hotel in Aberaeron. Perhaps next time I will be able to bring my family, who has heard me rave about your hotel twice now!
